  • Here is a brief video of the Church of the Nomadic Spirit church service this weekend.

It’s just a group of people who are hated and scorned by society coming together and hanging out. That’s it. That’s the entire message. “You are welcome. You are accepted. You are cool just the way you are.”

Who among us doesn’t crave that basic need?

I had an epiphany a couple days ago. I realized that the one thing I have consistently done in my adult life is build community.

We would have the most amazing gatherings in my dorm room at Baldwin Wallace College, and our little yellow house on West liberty in Medina Ohio.

The theme has always been the same. Come as you are. You are totally cool as is. Just come and hang out.

My message as a spiritual guide is really simple: Connect with people and you will understand them so much better. Connection is healing.

    Community is life.

This seems so stupidly simple. Yet I see it in very few spaces in society. I don’t care if you are homeless or you are a millionaire. Most people are judged and ridiculed MUCH more than they are accepted and loved. Isn’t that fucked up?
