  • In the season premiere of Movies In Trouble it’s “The Tale of Two Dicks,” and 'Superman II,’ a film caught between two directors and two competing visions. Originally helmed by Richard Donner, who had already filmed much of the sequel while making Superman: The Movie, the project took a dramatic turn when he was fired and replaced by Richard Lester. In our Season 2 premiere, we explore the behind-the-scenes power struggles, the reemergence of lost footage, and the lasting impact of a superhero sequel that nearly fell apart before it could soar.
