Laura Renner is a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) charge nurse who suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2021, which only added to her list of major health scares over the previous four years. Oksana's parents were both 'conscripted' into being slave labor for the Nazis. They weren't in a concentration camp, so we've never heard of them. But there were more people forced into slave labor during the war than were killed in camps. This is a side of the war rarely (if ever) discussed. It's time that changed.
