  • Join us as WE come together to see the issues and the needs of today’s HEROES, our veterans and first responders. WE will discuss the solutions and see the organizations that are boots on the ground as WE combat the silent, invisible and deadly enemies our HEROES are facing. WE are a grassroots, nonpartisan, nonprofit acting in the Mission to honor, empower and support those who have served. WE are the shock and awe in combating the silent, invisible and deadly enemies of our daily heroes, the First Responders and Veterans. Our goals come on many levels and forms as WE are raising awareness to those who do not know, WE are providing resources to those in need and WE provide the opportunities to those who are still interested in serving and/or have not had or taken the chance to serve before. WE are the beacon of hope for many to change their world through recalibration and rehabilitation. Our goals are to get our HEROES back into their families and communities. Happy Heroes create happy communities.

    WE get to spend some time visiting a whole lot with Joey James on this episode. Joey is near and dear to our hearts. He has been there, and he writes music in the form of storytelling, like the good ole country songs. He spreads the message of care, kindness, and respect between each other. Lend a hand, an ear, or whatever you can do to help your neighbor. He wants to bring storytelling back to mainstream Nashville country music again. His first song was titled, Another Silent Night!!! This is a hauntingly beautiful song. Everything is going on around you and when you’re in your head it’s just another silent night. When he writes these songs as a means of therapy, it is so very impactful when someone at a show will connect with one of his songs. His second song was titled, Shut Up And Shoot!!! It’s about a guy who’s got his heart broken and can’t stop talking about it, but whiskey makes the memories go away. So shut up and shoot another shot!!! His last song of the night was titled, Folded Flags!!! This one is about a person flying a flag in an old folks home. They tried to find out who the flag belonged to and they never could.     WE get to hear about Joe Bateman on this episode. He is going places, and we are so happy to be on his team!!! Joe is working on new music, and trying to get himself out there, and to take his band along. There is a new little love in his life, a baby girl just 8 months old. This is allowing him to experience a new side of parenthood! Twins first, and then another boy and then this baby girl. :) The first song shared by Joe is The Way I Was Raised, written with his dad while playing around one evening. With his dad as his inspiration, Joe continues to write and create music. The two of them put this together in 20 minutes, and it went out on ITunes, and that gave him his start. This one is a great Show Starter!! The second song is Can’t Keep A Good Man Down!!! There’s a cool video that goes with this song. Lastly, we played Blessed. This one is a love song. He had no clue about it when he wrote the song, but from where he is now in life, he surely understands it a lot better. He would say that he is blessed.     WE had Aman Negassi with his mission, Stop Death by Desk. Aman is Air Force? And has connected with others about how to take your health seriously … It is hard to come out of the military, and if you don’t have the same kind of lifestyle you had when serving, you can fall into the not great body image and composition. Our USA lifestyle is such that we are not really healthy at the core from the get-go anyway, so finding a healthy balance is a tough road. He is working to promote healthy choices, with diet and exercise, but also balancing the core needs. We had the opportunity to visit with Ryan Th30ry and hear not only his music, but the stories behind the music. He is real, and writes about things he relates to and has experienced. There is such a fun aspect to most of it, and a real seriousness when there needs to be. For his first song, he shared “Hear Me Tho”, with Th30ry and Bizerk. 2nd Song: Falling From Grace - sequel coming in 2026, called Crash Landing 3rd Song: Aw Yeah. This one is heavily influenced by Travis Scott. It’s about all those people that said he couldn’t do this.
