  • Résumé

  • Introducing Taking Up Space; a podcast by BIPOC, for BIPOC 🤎 We have noticed a theme, through our lived experiences, that many racialized folks can struggle with taking up space. Many of us have been conditioned by colonialism and white supremacy to shrink ourselves, water ourselves down, conform, assimilate, stay silent, carry shame, and put the needs of others above our own to not inconvenience anyone. We hope to represent racialized people being their authentic selves, claiming a seat at the table, and being seen and heard in the fullness of our experiences.
