  • As captain of the England netball team, six-footer Ama Agbeze reached the PINNACLE of tall girl success. Her combination of height, skill and unwavering perseverance earned her a gold medal at the commonwealth games and an MBE for her services to netball.

    Ama talks frankly about how she has has struggled to come to terms with her height away from the netball court, and also offers some great advice for coping with career knock-backs and sharpening resilience. We also discuss what parents should do if their children are showing sporting promise (is it ok to be pushy?) and how tall people can very quickly become unpaid supermarkets workers.
