In this episode, the Ambassador and her team arrive on the Magellan. She asks N'amani to sweep her quarters. They talk about Captain Logan. After they get underway, they have a briefing to go over the mission. Captain Logan introduces Lt. Katy, a new flight officer. The Ambassador explains the First Contact mission and the chance they will meet the Olmeri. They talk about the problems. After the meeting, Captain Logan records a log entry. Maja interrupts. N'amani records a message to his sister, Aswana. Commander Brandon receives a message from her mother. The Ambassador and N'amani get a call from President Smbarak. The mission gets underway.

We're all looking for something. Everything is changing. The world is a mess and we have to do something. What do we do? We don't know. We haven't figured it out yet.
