The Art of the Free Person (S2C E65 Part 1)

  • Résumé

  • Bryan is back with more insights on our potential future. He has delved into Universities and what they must face over the next 75 years: a radically changing climate, economic challenges, flux in societal understanding of what higher education is and what purpose it must serve, and the pay-to-play perception that can create confusion on prestigious boards, just to name a few topics.

As always, Bryan is curious, tremendously informed, and fascinated with the potential in the systems of higher education. He explores ideas with us, and helps us to understand our own work in relation to our possible future. Also, he is obviously concerned about an existing stance in the higher education of the USA, in particular, that still seems to relegate these combustive challenges to the sidelines of the work ahead.

Please note that I could not edit much out at all, and this discussion is close to a full hour, presented in two Parts. Look for both, on Subject2Change - Sustainability.
