Well we've finally reached the point where we're making content about... content. Our eleventh episode covers our opinions on TikTok as well as TikTok's opinion of us! (us meaning millennials and the traits the clock app has assigned to our generation) Oh yeah and the TikTok "ban." Heavy on those quotation marks!

From water shortages to media fearmongering, we also explore how crises are portrayed in the news and on social media and the overall cultural impact of TikTok. Also, Jacob is very passionate about Millennial Gray!

We went viral! Our Wicked theory video hit over 1 million views and and boy has it been a wild journey in the comments. Our AHA! moment about Madam Morrible controlling the weather in Oz, sparked widespread discussion, earning over 47,000 shares and 200 new followers in a week. THANK Y'ALL SO MUCH! Whether you agree or disagree, we appreciate the engagement ;)

We HAD to respond to some of them comments, tho... Jacob hilariously addressed a debate with a fan who brought their 6-year-old into the mix, while Kalen laments (again... seriously she won't shut up about it) on the importance of preserving storytelling magic— aka spoiler culture and why it still applies to this 20+ year old story.

We chat some more about the musical’s intricate storytelling, particularly in Act Two, and predict how the upcoming Wicked movie could address narrative gaps. We also had an epiphany about how the various offshoots of the world of Oz are similar to the Marvel Cinematic Universe such as the multiple Spider-Man reboots, which has evolving cultural significance.

Jacob has an AMAZING superfan moment of the week, involving performing for Disney animation LEGENDS and hearing some truly fantastical stories from our childhood faves like The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. & of course we couldn't leave you without a special holiday edition of VIOLENTLY MILLENNIAL!
