  • "He Stole My Identity!" Living with the Trauma of a Father's Criminal Enterprise
    Jan 27 2025
In this profoundly moving and unflinching interview, Zett Espinoza opens up about the profound trauma of growing up under the control of her father, the leader of a criminal organization built around the distribution of illegal pornography, brothels, exploitation and sex toys. As a child, Zett and her brothers were kidnapped by their father, forced to change their identities, and hidden from the world to shield him from law enforcement. Within this shadowy existence, they were subjected to relentless manipulation, psychological torture, and physical abuse. Her father used fear and coercion to control their lives and even pressured them into aiding his illegal enterprises, robbing them of their innocence and freedom. Zett speaks candidly about the emotional and psychological toll this harrowing experience took on her—revealing how the trauma of being raised in such a dark and exploitative environment impacted her sense of self and her ability to trust. Despite this, her story is one of resilience and hope as she recounts her journey to reclaim her identity, heal from the scars of the past, and rebuild her life on her terms. • Luigi Mangione & Insurers Under Fire w/ Dr. Angel Iscovich
    Jan 16 2025
#luigimangione #insurance #unitedhealthcare #lafires #truecrime Luigi Mangione Resurfaces As Symbol of Anger Against California Insurers. In this episode of The Collier Landry Show, I sit down with Dr. Angel Iscovich, a renowned expert in human behavior and decision-making, to unpack a timely and controversial topic: the growing public anger toward insurance companies in the wake of disasters and corporate decisions that leave countless Americans vulnerable. We delve into the online discussions surrounding Luigi Mangione. This name has surfaced in the context of the recent fires devastating Southern California and the startling murder of UnitedHealthcare's CEO, Brian Thompson, on December 4. Dr. Iscovich helps us explore why these events have sparked such a visceral reaction, with many viewing Mangione as a symbolic avenger against a system they perceive as broken. Together, we examine the broader societal implications of these narratives, the psychology of public outrage, and what these events reveal about the state of trust (or lack thereof) in corporations. How does this collective anger reflect our values as a society? And what can we learn from it as we look to move forward? • How Complex PTSD led to the Tragedy in Las Vegas w/ Dr. Roger Rhoades
    Jan 7 2025
In this compelling episode of The Collier Landry Show, we explore the devastating impact of complex PTSD through the lens of a tragic New Year’s Day event. Dr. Roger Rhoades, an expert in trauma and mental health, will join us in discussing the case of Master Sgt. Matthew Livelsberger, a decorated U.S. Army Special Forces veteran whose private struggles led to a public tragedy. Livelsberger's actions—a Tesla Cybertruck bombing outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas—shocked the nation and raised urgent questions about mental health care for veterans. We unpack the string of events, from his cryptic messages to loved ones to the mounting evidence of a traumatic brain injury and unaddressed grief over his military service. Dr. Rhoades sheds light on the psychological toll of complex PTSD, the challenges of reintegration after military service, and the warning signs that often go unnoticed. Together, we examine the intersection of mental health, personal tragedy, and societal accountability to foster understanding and change. • Justice for Abby and Libby – Richard Allen Sentenced to 130 Years
    Dec 20 2024
Justice for Abby and Libby – Richard Allen Sentenced to 130 Years In this episode of The Collier Landry Show, we cover the sentencing of Richard Allen, convicted of the 2017 Delphi Murders of Abigail “Abby” Williams (13) and Liberty “Libby” German (14). An Indiana judge handed Allen a 130-year sentence—65 years for each murder, served consecutively. While this verdict brings a sense of closure, Allen maintains his innocence, and his attorneys plan to appeal. Healing as a Survivor of Violent Crime As a survivor of violent crime, I reflect on the healing process after such tragedies. Justice is a step, but true healing involves processing the pain, honoring loved ones, and finding strength to move forward. Abby and Libby’s story is a powerful reminder of resilience and the importance of community in that journey.
