White, a 1994 graduate of CLU, discusses what it means to come full circle returning to his alma mater to head the basketball program. Before joining Cal Lutheran, White spent 13 seasons as the head coach at Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino where he achieved remarkable success, making the playoffs 12 times with seven CIF semi-final appearances, seven state championship appearances, two CIF Southern Section titles, and two state titles. White highlights some of the players he coached at Crespi who went on to play professionally, including Drew Housman, Jerramy King, London Perrantes, DJ Ursery, Max Heidegger, and De’Anthony Melton.
