From 2006 to 2014, she served as Ambassador to Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia. As Permanent Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency, the CTBTO, UNIDO and the United Nations Office in Vienna, she pioneered the growth of sustainable nuclear energy in developing nations. She was also a keystone in the discussions that led to the banning of nuclear tests around the world. In Today’s episode, we discuss Ambassador Dengo’s experience in high-stakes arms negotiations and the future development of Latin America.

    On our ninth episode of The Framing Effect, we welcome Dr. Vernon Smith, the 2002 Nobel Prize Laureate in Economic Sciences. Dubbed the "Father of Experimental Economics," he pioneered the use of experiments to test economic theories in the 1950’s, recent author of Humanonics along with Bart Wilson, and is now a professor at Chapman University.
