We discuss his journey from classical percussion, to his passion for Brazilian music, marching at Carnival, and his founding of Miami Bloco.

Episode 13 features drummer, and UM alum, Miguel Merino. Miguel talks about his journey to Egypt, developing his playing on the Lyre, and starting his band Otaak. He has become fully immersed in the Egyptian musical language, as well as speaking the language fluently.
