Verity is one of the judges on the BBC show Pooch Perfect. Today we are talking about how the dogs were kept happy on the set of Pooch Perfect, which was an interesting look behind the scenes. As someone who professes to know nothing about grooming I have learnt so much from Verity's knowledge that she shares with us today to ensure that our dogs are not getting matted leading to severe clips. No matter what breed of dog you have we talk about how to ensure your dog is happy being handled and groomed

When we were put into that first lockdown, before we knew what was coming - Ella took the instagram world (well the dog section of it) by storm with her dog sanity. Dog sanity gave dog owners ideas of simple enrichment games that they could play with their dogs when walking for hours at a time wasn't really an option. Sophie is in a unique position in that she is both a veterinary surgeon and a qualified behaviourist. In this episode we are discussing the relationship between pain and behaviour and why a veterinary check is vital before embarking on a behavioural modification plan. Marc Abraham, or Marc the Vet as he is more commonly known, is not only a practising vet but also a broadcaster, author and animal welfare campaigner.

The list of Marc's accomplishments could cover an entire episode on its own, but today we are talking to him about his very successful campaigns around animal welfare, promoting rescue pet adoption and responsible breeding, as well as actively advocating to stop the cruel puppy farming industry.

In todays episode we go through Marc's campaigning journey, resulting in new legislation, known as Lucy's Law which was brought in last year.
