The key is recognizing when anger controls us and addressing the underlying issues in our hearts.

The Beatitudes teach us three essential qualities for Christian living: mercy, purity of heart, and peacemaking. Mercy involves showing extravagant kindness beyond what's required, especially to those in need. Pure hearts focus on internal transformation rather than just external actions.
