  • Today I mention an old friend who I used to work with many years ago when I delivered pizzas who would come in and say, "I found a hidden gem!" I use this statement to reference the Kingdom of God since Christ refers to the Kingdom as treasure hidden in a field. Questions today are, "Is the church and the church only the kingdom, or is there more to it?" Luke definitely says, "The kingdom of God is within you." What does that infer? What are we supposed to look for and in us if we are to truly have "a hidden gem in our lives?"
