During this episode, I review the prompt from Episode 1 regarding how certain stressors can lead to change in multiple domains of your life, and I also discuss the mind-body connection. I discuss the significance of increased awareness regarding how emotions impact us at a physical or physiological level, and how those outcomes can lead to changes in our thoughts, feelings, and behavior. I've attached links to a feelings wheel and the handout for the exercise that's outlined in this episode, as well as Episode 1's handout. This exercise will help you start to build your awareness of your emotional experience in any given moment, and the accompanying physiological changes that occur within your body when you experience certain emotions. If you can start to master this skill, you can be more effective with intervening on distressing emotional and physical states.
