My guest today is Lorelai Keeker a 16 year old quilter and garment maker who is taking the industry by storm. At her young age she has already won numerous awards including Viewer’s Choice awards AQS Branson and Paducah, Best of division for a quilted dress at Missouri State Fair, her quilt, "Fabulous Fireworks," was displayed at the Houston International Quilt Festival as part of the, "50 years of Great Quilts," exhibit and this year she won first place for her quilt Magnetized at QuiltCon 2025. It’s quite an accomplishment to even get a quilt into Quiltcon never mind win your category. She has accomplished so much and has plenty more dreams where that came from.

My guest today is Karlee Porter of Karlee Porter Designs! She’s known for inventing Graffitti Quilting and she will invite you into her community with open arms to explore your free motion quilting potential. Karlee is a lifelong artist who transformed her passion into a quilting career. I met her a few years ago for the first time at QuiltCon. She was decked out head to toe in this gorgeous black and white quilted coat just when the craze of quilted garments was getting started. She was like a walking art gallery of intricate graffiti style quilting designs. She brings a whole host of products, ideas, books and workshops to the quilting world with her graffiti quilting!
