  • THE RECLUSIVE BLOGGER... INTERVIEWS NEIL NAYYAR SEVENTEEN-YEAR-OLD RECORD-BREAKING MULTI-INSTRUMENTALIST
    Aug 1 2023

    Hey, everyone!

I'm back! Thanks for sticking around! Like I said in my previously published episode (that's right, I dropped two today!). I've had a busy first half of the year. So, with things slowing down, I felt that I could finally focus better and get these episodes properly published and released. Remember creatives! Burnout is a real thing. The last few months have been a whirlwind. I covered the Cruel World Festival for the second year in a row, covered Film Independent Spirit Awards, and The Grammys. I also visited the Reagan Library to see the Auschwitz Exhibit. I did so many other things, and my publication is growing. But enough about that, you're here for the podcast and interviews, and we have a special one. In today's episode, I interview Neil Nayyar, the seventeen-year-old music prodigy who plays almost 120 instruments. In this interview, we talk about Grammy Camp (which he attended for the second year), his film-scoring projects, influences, and his forthcoming album set for a September release.

I want to send a special shoutout and some appreciation to my listeners in Kuwait. Thanks for caring and listening! :)

Neil is also nominated for Musician of the Year at the Josie Music Awards this year.

Lastly, be on the lookout for his debut album, "Breaking Barriers"!

    Aug 1 2023

    Hey, guys!

Welcome back! Thanks for sticking around! It's been a busy past few months, so a much-needed break felt apt. The last few months have been a whirlwind as I covered the Cruel World Festival for the second year in a row, covered Film Independent Spirit Awards, and The Grammys. I also visited the Reagan Library to see the Auschwitz Exhibit

I'm back with not one but two episodes. The first is with the engaging Mike Peters, frontman for the Welsh Punk band The Alarm, who is back with a new album, "Forwards", a collection of material that started with Peters during his recent hospital stays for a Cancer relapse. In this episode, we discuss the band's new material, influences, Mike's charity Love Hope Strength, and the pros and cons of social media. We even dig into his early days with The Alarm. I hope you enjoy this episode, and one more thing, I want to send a special shoutout and some appreciation to my listeners in Kuwait. Thanks for caring and listening!

The Reclusive Blogger… Interviews Folk-Rock Singer-songwriter Ralph Pelleymounter

Hi, everyone Brittney here and I’m back with a new episode after what seems like a long hiatus and it’s Halloween. For today’s episode, I chat about what I've been doing the last few months and feature a new interview with Folk-Rock Singer-songwriter Ralph Pelleymounter. An artist you may have heard of from his years in To Kill A King or perhaps through his songwriting with other artists like Bastille and Rag N Bone Man. Pelleymounter has been making quite a name for himself as a solo singer with his debut album “Dead Debutante’s Ball”, solo singles like “Steady Love”, and now his latest, “Death Falls In Love”, which is out today. I had a lovely chat with Ralph about his music, his life growing up, his songwriting, and lots more. I hope you enjoy this one!
