He and the Thylacine Awareness Group have dedicated a great deal of their time and resources into finding the “extinct” Thylacine, also known as the Tasmanian Tiger. The last specimen of this species was said to have died in a zoo in the 1930’s. These bizarre and fascinating animals are marsupials which Neil says: “Look like a dog, act like a cat, and walk like a horse”. The stripes on their lower back are the main feature that sets them apart.
