In preparation for our first conference this spring, we wanted to do an episode on what we are dreaming about for INSPIRE conference + experience. It is a journey of exploring the intersection of spirituality and creativity and rethinking faith and cities.

We truly believe this is going to be an extraordinary time for people from all walks in life. We are planting a flag in the ground for people that see the world differently and want to bring hope, life and beauty to the world we live in.

This conversation was on the heels of a NY Times articles apologizing to readers for publishing an article for not getting their facts straight regarding a situation in the Israel / Hamas war that has recently unfolded.

We live in a day where not just news agencies but we as people live with such a pressure to have an opinion about everything even before we have all the facts needed to have a healthy perspective on the situation. Listen as Eric and Shayna dive into a conversation how opinion is hijacking our ability to think and what we can do about it.

In this episode Eric and Shayna have a debate about Taylor Swift. She is currently on a World Tour that is shattering just about every record and the US Treasury has credited her impacting the American economy by billions of dollars. Yet, many struggle with her as an artist? Is she authentic? Many are wondering and some don't understand why she is so successful. Eric and Shayna explore some of dynamics of what is called the "Taylor Swift Effect" and this cultural moment we are in.

This talk is centered around language is culture and culture is language. Eric and Shayna dialogue about how crucial it is we advance our personal language. Often times we become too satisfied with a vernacular that was revolutionary at one point but has now limited our paradigms and mindsets. Our words can limit us or expand us. One of the key things we can do is reduce our copy and pasting words and phrases and step into a space where we are constantly exploring and expanding our language and vocabulary so we can create new worlds and realities for humanity.
