It’s been a weekend of stag dos for The Third Reel crew, so what better way to celebrate than with two films that dive into the chaos of pre-wedding antics? Well… one does fully, the other kind of counts.

Often hailed as the male and female counterparts of the same concept, these two comedy heavyweights are constantly compared—but which one truly comes out on top? Which delivers the bigger laughs? Which tells the better story? We’re here to settle the score in the long-awaited return of our Versus series!

These iconic comedies go head-to-head across five key categories: Comedy, Ensemble Cast, Storyline, Cultural Influence, and Rewatchability. Each film will be scored out of 5 in each category, with a maximum of 25 points up for grabs. Only one can walk away with the win—so let the showdown begin!
