In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 2:7. This verse says, "He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly." We look at what exactly it means that He lays up sound wisdom, who exactly the righteous are, what exactly it means that He's our buckler and what it means to walk uprightly. This promise of God's gift of wisdom and His protection is available to us today, if only we'll receive it.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 2:6. This verse says, "For the Lord giveth wisdom: Out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding." We look at what it means and why it is that God gives wisdom and how we can receive this gift that He freely offers. We also look at why it's from His mouth specifically that knowledge and understanding come and how we can receive these from His mouth as well.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 2:5. This verse says, "Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God." We look at what exactly it means to fear the Lord and how it differs from 'fear' as we commonly understand it.] and the difference it makes when we have a good, working understanding of it. We also look at what the knowledge of God means, why we have to find it and how we find it.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 2:4. It says, "If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasure." This verse is the last set of conditions leading up to the fifth verse which tells us what awaits us if we meet the conditions God's laid out in His Word. We look at the importance of searching after wisdom and the devotion and eagerness we need to have in our search and we also look at how we should view wisdom, seeing it for the treasure that it is.

In today's episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 2:3. This verse says, "Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;" We look at why we cry after knowledge and what that specifically requires us to do. Then we look at the similarities between that and lifting up our voice for understanding. We look at why we lift up our voice, what it means to do so and the difference that it makes in our life and in our walk of faith.

In today's episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 2:2. This verse says, "So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;" We look at what it means to incline our ear to wisdom, and how specifically we can apply ourselves to understanding and why we apply our heart specifically. There's a lot we can learn from this verse that we can apply in our life.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 2:1. This verse says, "My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;" In this first verse of the second chapter we look at the importance of Solomon addressing this proverb to 'my son'. We also look at what it truly means to receive the Word of the Lord and what it means and looks like to hide His commandments within us. There's a lot we can learn from this proverb.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 1:33. This verse says, "But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil." In this last verse of the first chapter, we see what exactly it means to hearken to the Lord, what dwelling safety in Him looks like, what it means to be truly quiet from fear of evil and what this promise means for us.
