In this latest episode Steve talks to session singer Jasette Amos about her career and hears about the many top artistes that she has worked with including Tom Jones, Rod Stewart, Michael Bolton & Mica Paris. She also talks about her time as a vocal coach on X-Factor. From simple beginnings in South London to working with some of the biggest names in the music business Jasette shares some of the stories and experiences she has had over the years and offers give tips to aspiring singers on how to improve their voice.
Both Steve and Jasette reveal their top 10 singers and discuss what makes these singers so special and why some have had such long careers.
Steve Sahl-Taylor has nearly 40 years experience as a musician, singer and songwriter. He started singing in bands in South Wales when he was 16 before taking long term residencies in Spain and Croatia. On returning to the UK he moved to Devon in South West England. Here he started writing songs for his first album. The album Hello World was signed to US label ACM Records and was released in 2006.
He continued touring throughout Europe with 12 tours to Scandinavia and many gigs in London and South East England.
He still writes songs, does the occasional gig and is a music teacher. He is based in London.
