  • Theobite 028: Do We Render to Caesar?
    Feb 24 2025

During the COVID lockdowns, many Christians quoted Matthew 22:21 saying, "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's and to God the things that are God's." in order to maintain obedience to those lockdowns and close church gatherings. But is that what that text is talking about? As Sean handles this text, we must ask the question what belongs to Caesar and what belongs to God?

    Feb 17 2025

As you look at this current world, so much dramatic change has turned navigating this life into something that can be very difficult. With technological advances, governmental decisions, and a society jettisoning Christian beliefs and ethics; it can be difficult to determine where you are let alone where you're going.

In this episode, Sean and Patke speak to the rules-oriented person who believes everything is black and white. • Theobite 027: Does God Keep Evil from Good Christians?
    Feb 10 2025

The challenge comes once again from Patheos.com. As Christians are gunned down, how can a Christian say that God exists? How can that be especially when it seems that He has promised blanket protection if you are righteous?

"No grave trouble will overtake the righteous, But the wicked shall be filled with evil." (Proverbs 12:21)

"Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;" (Psalm 91:9-10)

Can you trust a God who seems to be promising carte blanche protection that never comes? Is that really what He is really promising? Listen in and find out.
