We also get into masking and how it is a huge part of people-pleasing, and it can be so damaging to our identity The people-pleasing struggle is relatable for many people, so we thought it would be great to add some advice and tips on how to stop people-pleasing! Give yourself permission to be the MAIN character in your own story, set boundaries, break free from people-pleasing, and practice LOTS of self-care!

In this episode, Maggie & Erica discuss religious trauma and the experience of coming out with the first guest, Stephanie. Stephanie shares what it was like coming out at the stage of life she was in, and the impact it had on going to church and being a Christian. Stephanie also discusses her mental health journey and how difficult it has been to navigate. Though Stephanie received a lot of support overall, there were struggles and hardships within her relationships with family and church members.
