Gillian Johnstone was twenty-three when she landed a job with the Civil Service in Grays, becoming an Executive Officer at the Department of Social Security. Originally from Scotland and excited with the thought of her new job, she moved into a bedsit in Dagenham, Essex, close to her new place of work. Life at this time was good for Gillian – she was enjoying her new employment and her new home and she also enjoyed spending time with her boyfriend, Gary. But one other person in the house, Patrick Keane, took exception at something so incredibly minor and innocuous. But due to this, he made her life a total misery for the next decade....

As Club President, Harold Petrie and his wife locked up - as they had done many times before - there was a raid to try to steal the takings of the day. And this robbery tragically left Harold dead at just 46 years old when he was brutally attacked and stabbed by one of the thieves. Who was responsible for his death?

Joseph Scudder and his fiance, Yvonne Killian, had spent the day shopping for their wedding rings ahead of their wedding in The Bahamas. When home, Yvonne took a nap ahead of work that evening as Joseph headed out to work. Joseph returned home at 1 am. The front door was locked, so he went around to the back of the flat and peered through the back window which had been broken. His eyes were met with the haunting sight of his fiancé’s dead body on the sofa, an image he never could forget.
