  • Many people who decide that they no longer believe in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints or no longer believe in the church’s truth claims regarding Joseph Smith want to leave the church but retain some of the doctrines or principles that they cherish. They want to become mainstream Christians but hang on to what makes sense to them or feels right about this life, their premortal life, the afterlife and the nature of God that came from Joseph Smith. This episode strips those plain and precious truths that were restored by Joseph Smith away to show a Latter-day Saint what they must believe in order to be considered a true Christian after leaving the church.
