  • To Be Married, or Not Divorced?
    Mar 12 2026

A statement came out in our conversation the other day - "You know, some people are trying to not get divorced, rather than wanting to be married."

So what does that look like? What does that sound like? We live in a world where it is acceptable for a marriage to look like roommates sharing a last name and having different lives. How do we break that cycle? We break it by remembering WHY we got married. We encourage each other to grow, together! Not to be identical, but together.

Connect with us if you would like to be better with your marriage.

Have a listen, and let us know what you think!

  • Being Accountable
    Feb 17 2026

When Eve was talking to the snake, Adam was right there with her, listening and watching. Are we helping our spouses stay accountable, are we encouraging them, correcting them, helping them? How do we act, look, speak when we are at our spouse's elbow?

  • The 2 Become 1
    Dec 5 2025

When two people get married, they get a new identity. That comes with starting a new family, new traditions, and a new culture. It might seem a bit crazy to go against tradition, especially now that it is the Holiday season of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. This is what happens though. As a married couple, starting our own family, we had the opportunity to sit and talk about what we wanted our family traditions to look and sound like. We took the good and the bad of our families from growing up, and had a "Keep or Toss" conversation. We learned that those conversations keep happening throughout our marriage, in every season. Our lives will change, and our traditions get to change with them.

So what traditions would you like to start, keep, or change in your marriage and family? Have a listen, and let us know what you think.

  • Who's In Your Corner?
    Nov 20 2025

Many of us know that we should be wise and discerning when it comes to allowing people to speak into our lives. It is the same with your marriage. Not everyone we meet should have access and "speaking rights" to our marriage. It is good to have a conversation with God and your spouse about who should be in your corner, and should should just visit your porch. Not everyone will be able to have the same level of trust and love for your marriage as you do.

Have a listen as we talk about the people that should be in your corner, the ones that will celebrate with you and hold you accountable. Let us know what you think!

  • Accountability
    Nov 6 2025

    Welcome to Episode 134!

We are so excited to share our thoughts on accountability with you. What does that look like? It is a combination of what we say and do to and for each other, and so much more. Accountability is accepting responsibility for one's actions, commitments, and decisions, and being answerable for the outcomes, whether positive or negative. It involves being transparent, explaining decisions, and taking ownership of results to build trust and improve performance in personal, professional, and societal contexts.

We also talk about Accountability and Vulnerability in Episode 58. Have a listen and let us know what you think!

How do you react when change comes? Are you able to move and adapt when change happens?

In this episode, we are talking about one of the changes in life and how spouses can cope and support each other through it. It isn't a midlife crisis, it is perimenopause. This isn't something that men go through, but we are there for our wives.

Have a listen as we break down some of these changes, and strategies for successfully navigating them. We want to leave you with hope.

Let us know what you think, and feel free to reach out with questions or if you want to talk.

  • What's In Your Backpack?
    Oct 8 2025

What's in your backpack? What are you carrying around with you from yesterday? Life is full of adventure, lessons, memories, and stress. As we go and do stuff and interact with others, we have a tendency to take bits of those moments and carry them with us. Those bits can add up to weigh us down. When we focus on God, He will tell us what we need to carry and what to drop. We get to start each day with an empty backpack. We can choose to not carry the past with us.

Have a listen, and let us know what you think.
