It's Wednesday afternoon, meaning it's time for a fresh episode of the world's greatest podcast. On this week's episode of Better Lait Than Never, I'm begging Connor McDavid to shoot more, wondering when Viktor Arvidsson will stop falling down, and wading through the noise surrounding Stuart Skinner.

I kicked off the Wednesday episode of BLTN with a recap of the week, including my gripes with the weather, the Real Life golf league, and a tease about a former Oiler who could soon be working with us. I also followed through on my promise to give away a BLTN hoodie for a listener who sent me a picture of their podcast review. I also promised to do these more often because they really do help the podcast grow, and I also want to keep rewarding listeners for playing along.

Turning the podcast back toward the Oilers, I started with a quick recap of Tuesday's game against the St. Louis Blues. The Oilers almost lost that one due to a four-minute stretch of disastrous hockey in the third period, so I couldn't help but wonder what's going on with these in-game lulls lately. If I'm putting my detective's hat on for a minute, it almost seems like we've got a flu running through the team right now or something.

Finally, I wrapped up this quick episode of BLTN with a pair of guest Righteous Sack Beatings, before wrapping up the show with another round of voicemails that were all over the map. The inbox was slow and steady again this week, but I still got plenty of laughs from your ideas, feedback, and voicemails. As always, I sat back and laughed while listening to everything that's been on your mind over the last seven days.
