  • For many people, a visit to the groomer is part of the basic equipment for puppies. But when should my puppy go to the groomer? When is the perfect time? What should I pay particular attention to? I asked my dog expert. You should start getting your puppy used to the groomer when it is about 3-4 months old, as this is the age when dogs are in the so-called imprinting phase. However, you are always welcome to come by for a trial appointment beforehand and get to know the salon and the groomer.
