You are invited to a thought-provoking discussion, "We each have a God-given assignment!" featuring our guest speaker, Elder Tyrone Clark. He will share valuable insights and wisdom on making important decisions and embracing a positive outlook on what God is calling you to. You have an assignment from God Himself. Your life isn't just about you anymore; it's about God's mission and purpose being done in and through you." There have been moments when I've found it challenging to appreciate the unique gifts God has given me because I didn't understand how important they are/were. In those times, I've struggled with gratitude, not seeing the bigger picture, and allowing my feelings of discontent and the opinions of others to overshadow the blessings I've been given. In my ignorance and moments of foolishness, I often compared myself to others, perceiving them as having received a more favorable share of the "assignment" pie. Their talents and their life roles appeared to carry more weight, deeper meaning, and far more significance than my own. If you can relate to feeling as if you would like your assignment better if you weren't doing something else, here are some words to encourage you: God is the only one who can determine if it has value and if you are making an impact because He gives the assignments and assigns value to the assignments. God doesn't give His children assignments that are unimportant. You are meant to be empowered by your purpose, calling, and assignment, not burdened by them. Please don't underestimate your assignment or judge its value based on temporary circumstances; doing so may cloud your perspective. Instead, view it through the eyes of God, who does not waste the impact of any individual He has created.
