Senator Cynthia Lummis, Republican of Wyoming, came on to discuss the cryptocurrency amendment holding up the infrastructure package and why she is trying to narrow the language of the provision. Adam Ozimek, the chief economist at Upwork, outlined his latest report titled, "The Great Resignation" about the lasting impacts of the pandemic on the labor market. Then Glenn Fogel, the CEO of Booking Holdings, reacted to their second quarter earnings and talked about the impact of the Delta variant on the travel rebound.
