She was successful at work, respected as a manager, popular with her team, healthy relationship at home - but she told me it left her feeling unfulfilled so she wanted to work on how to get the next promotion, then it would be all okay.For some reason, I wasn't convinced, so I asked her:"Ignoring all of society's expectations, what career would you like to have had?"She hesitated, then finally said: "A hairdresser. I'd love to have been a hairdresser. I'm missing the possibility to be creative in my work."Clients often bring an obvious topic to a session, but the real issue is hidden.
