Captain America: Brave New World is the most recent Marvel movie where the new Captain America (Anthony Mackie) faces the aftermath of a mineral rich Celestial rising from the ocean. Cap essentially has to stop an unknown enemy before a global treaty falls through and chaos breaks out.

Ryan and Mark remain let down by this most recent Marvel production and give the film a 6 and 6.5/10, respectively. We don't recommend rushing to see this one.

Love Hurts is the story of an ex-hitman turned real estate agent that is drug back into his old life against his will. The film is a Valentine's Day film with action, romance, and comedy splashed all over. Unfortunately, while the action is OK, the romance and comedy portions fall mostly flat. If you decide to watch this on VDAY, you might be disappointed.

Ryan and Mark give it a 5/10 and 6/10, respectively and don't recommend it.

Heart Eyes is a merciless killer that's on the loose on Valentine's Day. Couples are the main target but no one is safe. This movie is a horror/slasher with not a small amount of comedic romance. If you're looking for something to watch on VDAY with your squeeze, look no further especially if you can stomach the genre (it really isn't too scary in our opinion)

Companion released in January of 2025 and is a horror/sci-fi film about a guy (Jack Quaid) in a relationship with a synthetic female named Iris (Sophie Thatcher). Everyone seems to know Iris is a robot except the audience and Iris herself. Iris, the innocent and loving robot, finds herself (itself?) in a sinister plot to take advantage of someone you might not expect. Ultimately, Iris finds herself just trying to survive.

Flight Risk is movie starring Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Dockery, and Topher Grace. The film starts with the arrest of Winston (Topher Grace) who decides to be a cooperating witness against a powerful organized crime syndicate. Most of the film takes place inside an airplane where the pilot isn't who he claimed to be. After discovering the true identify of pilot, Winston and US Marshall (Michelle Dockery) have to work together to overcome the imposter and land the plane.

Ryan and Mark are divided in their rating of this film giving it a 7.5 and 4.5, respectively. So, see it... maybe?
