Ranked Top 2.5% Globally Do you wish that you could lead your team in a way that honours and glorifies God? Are you struggling to overcome self-doubt as a leader and have a desire to be more confident in your role? Do you want the courage to deal with difficult people but don’t want to upset anyone? Well, you’re in the right place! On this podcast, I’ll teach you how to lead like Jesus, even if you’re not allowed to speak of your faith in your workplace. You’ll learn to become bold and confident as a leader, to speak up and say what God wants you to say and to finally know that you are worthy to be in your current role. Because God chose you, not because you are already a perfect leader, but because HE wants to mold you and use you to be an instrument in the kingdom of God. Hey, I’m Rika, and for the past 10 years, I’ve been in middle-management leadership roles, where I have led various teams, from big to small, and experienced my fair share of working with difficult people, having tough conversations, hiring and firing people and managing team dynamics. I thought that I could rely on worldly knowledge of leadership to get me through. I attended various leadership courses and listened to many leadership podcasts, but I was still struggling as a leader. I was feeling frustrated and to be honest, I was not enjoying my leadership role and felt like quitting more often than I probably should have! I finally realised that if I wanted to be the leader that I truly desired to be (which was a leader who wasn’t shy to speak up, a leader who honoured God with her actions and a leader who could build a cohesive team without the drama), I needed to partner with God and find a Christian leadership mentor to guide me and keep me accountable. I committed my leadership journey to God and partnered with HIM. I started working with a mentor and stepped out in faith as I did hard things every single day. And I can’t wait to share what I’ve learned with you! If you’re ready to lead your team in a way that honours God, I’m excited to be your mentor! • 129 | Restoring Trust After a Leadership Mistake
    Sep 16 2025

Every leader makes mistakes, but not every leader knows how to recover from them. Other leaders don't even admit they made a mistake and will do everything to remain "credible".

In this episode, I unpack what to do when your decisions, words, or actions have damaged trust with your team.

You’ll learn why your mistakes don’t disqualify you, how Scripture points us toward humility and restoration, and practical steps you can take to rebuild credibility and lead with confidence again.

📖 What you’ll hear in this episode:

    • The biblical perspective on failure and redemption in leadership

    • Why humility and honesty are essential for regaining trust

    • Three practical steps you can take to start rebuilding today

Whether you’ve just walked through a tough leadership moment or want to be prepared for the future, this conversation will remind you that God can use even your failures as part of your leadership story.

👉 Listen now and discover how to restore trust and move forward in faith.

    Reflection & Action

As you reflect on this episode, consider these questions:

    1. Where have I hesitated to admit a mistake in my leadership—and what held me back?

    2. What step of humility (apology, clarification, or action) could I take this week to begin restoring trust?

    3. How can I remind myself daily that my worth as a leader is rooted in Christ, not in perfection?

✍️ Take a few minutes to journal your responses—or pray through them, asking God to give you courage, wisdom, and grace in your leadership.

  • 128 | Situational Awareness: How to Read the Room and Lead With Confidence
    Sep 8 2025

Are you truly aware of what’s happening around you when you lead?

In today’s episode, we’re diving into situational awareness, one of the most overlooked but powerful leadership skills. You’ll learn how to read the room, sense unspoken dynamics, and lead with clarity and confidence.

    Here’s what we cover:

    • Why situational awareness is essential for female Christian leaders

    • How to recognize the “invisible cues” in any meeting or team environment

    • Practical strategies to stay grounded and avoid leadership blind spots

    • How Scripture guides us in discerning wisely before responding

The truth is, leadership moments will test you. But when you pause, notice, and invite God into the moment, you’ll lead from a place of peace and strength.

    Reflection:

Pause and reflect on these questions:

    1. Where in your leadership do you need to slow down and “read the room” before responding?
    2. What boundaries or habits could help you be more present and discerning?
    3. How can you invite God into your leadership moments this week?
