Born and raised in Honolulu—of Hawaiian, Chinese, Norwegian descent—Tori graduated from Punahou School with classmate Barack Obama. After living in NYC and Los Angeles, for over 35 years, she now lives and writes from Portland, Oregon. Her deep interest in world culture has prompted her to visit nine countries, including Brazil, China, and Japan. Tori holds a 5th degree black belt in To-Shin Do ninja martial arts and has taught classes and seminars across the U.S.
    Kaua'i Storm
Returning to Kaua‘i, park ranger Makalani finds her family divided and their way of life at risk in this rich and emotional adventure by the bestselling author of the Lily Wong series.
After ten years as a national park ranger in Oregon, Makalani Pahukula is back on Kaua‘i for her grandmother’s birthday. Having been gone for so long, Makalani finds the disconnect with her people and her struggles have never been more profound. Neither has her need to reacquaint herself with everything she left behind. When she reaches the homestead, she finds a bickering family and the disconcerting news that her cousins—a failed college football player and a rebellious teenage girl—have gone missing.
Makalani hopes they just ran off, too careless to realize the worry they’ve caused. But when hunters find a dead body in the Keālia Forest Reserve, Makalani fears something ominous is at play, and the search for her cousins grows more desperate. Although her help may not be welcomed by family and locals, Makalani is determined to solve a mystery that poses a greater risk than anyone imagines.
The investigation will open her heart, reawaken her love for the land she calls home, and strengthen her bond with her family. Because no matter how long she’s been away, for Makalani, Hawai‘i is in her blood.

  • The Omega Group Series with Eric Bishop
    Jan 29 2025
    About Eric Bishop
I grew up in Connecticut, and relocated to the South after college. After becoming restless moves to the Rockies and the Pacific Northwest occurred before finally heading back East to raise a family. The wanderlust has never left me and I'm always yearning for the next adventure.

After many years in corporate America, I decided to turn my passion for the written word and dreams of crafting a novel into reality. My debut novel, The Body Man, came out late 2021. In 2023, I started my own book imprint/publishing company, BruNoe Media Publishing. Ransomed Daughter, A Troy Evans Novella introducing The Omega Group members to the world came out in October 2023. Breach of Trust the follow up to The Body Man came out in June 2024, while Babylon Will Rise the next novel featuring The Omega Group came out in December 2024. I also plan to publish two new novels in 2025.

I live in the Southeast part of the United States with my kids where you can normally find me exploring the great outdoors most weekends all the while dreaming up the next great novel.

Life is a gift. Enjoy the journey ...

    Babylon Will Rise
Of all codewords used by the United States military, Empty Quiver is one no service member wants to hear uttered. Now, two decades after they were stolen, two nuclear weapons emerge from the shadows in the hands of an international arms dealer.

    THE RACE IS ON.

With the lives of millions at risk, the government goes through every contingency plan in its arsenal—desperate to end the crisis without causing panic. But when the consequences of failure have dire global implications, no option is left off the table.

    ONLY ONE TEAM CAN WIN.
The Omega Group, a covert organization that works outside the restrictions of government oversight, has the skill and discretion necessary to succeed where no one else can. Led by Troy Evans, their highly skilled and close-knit team often works alone. But not this time. The team dynamic is tested when a new and unexpected member is attached to the latest mission.

    FAILURE IS UNACCEPTABLE.

Troy and the expanded Omega Group will have to utilize not only their wits but every trick in their playbook to assure success. But what if their crafty enemy is playing an unconventional game?

    BABYLON WILL RISE.

Whispers from the Grave (A Sekhet Saga)

In a world of supernatural beings where boundaries are pushed beyond the realms, Victor (a homicide detective and necromancer) and Olivia grapple with the revelation that their newborn daughter is not without reach. With the aid of his childhood friend Molly, a black witch with demon bloodlines, Victor has no choice but to allow and support her taking control in a bid to fight off Lilith and a black witch from the land of Fairies. The Glaistig, an ambivalent figure both malicious and benign in nature, sees Molly tapping into her powers, although fearful for Aria’s safety, is always excited to delve into ancient spells and rituals.

News of a teenage witch’s demise at the hands of a vampire, leaves tension and mistrust the Coven feel in their connections, within the supernatural world.
