Eta Shifting Offshore; Series of Pacific Storms to Impact the West - The center of Eta will pass just offshore of the coast of South and North Carolina through Friday morning. A series of storm systems will continue to impact the Western U.S. into next week with damaging high winds, heavy coastal rain and heavy mountain snow.
