  • cancer brings out the real
    Nov 2 2024

cancer brings out the real in everyone. when you or someone you know is diagnosed, how others outwardly or indirectly act can and will be hurtful - expect it. these folks do not know how to process and act and so you have to realize that that is the reality of life and some humans unfortunately.

we (cancer fighters) are normal, regular human beings that had something happen to us. we never asked for this but yet it is here and despite it, we are bearing that cross and courageously moving forward. so rather than punish us, make a decision to punish and fight the disease with us or step aside and get out our way because selfish hurt during a time when all we seek is compassion, understanding and support, like cancer, is something we do not need!
