In this question-and-answer session from the “On The Road” talk series, Dr. Hawkins illustrates the highest spiritual truth in easily understandable terms.

Dr. Hawkins begins this lecture by stating that our true purpose is to transcend from our original animal nature, otherwise known as the ego, to the realization of Divinity. He then guides us throughout this talk on how to allow the unfolding of this Truth. He explains our predicament: We have no idea where we came from, why we are here, who we are or where we are going. We are faced with the continuous uncertainty of life, everything we cling to is attacked and undermined by doubt within ourselves. However, the Presence of God as Self is the source of one's own existence.

In this insightful lecture, Dr. Hawkins explains that we actually live in a sense of our own subjectivity which is coming from consciousness/awareness. He then guides us on how to become more aware of this Truth and the levels of Love, and how to be able to shift your awareness to a new paradigm from where you are to where your heart would like to be. There is a way of being in this world that is no longer dualistic. There is also a discussion on the important topics of intention, choice, prayer, surrender and perfecting the virtues as a spiritual foundation.
