Many tales of horror about German occupation have been told through the ages. Some stories are well-known, the history books and television programs documenting them in wretched detail; others are more obscure: the painful separation of families as they attempted to escape an inevitable future, children snatched at a tender age and hidden, everyone wary and vigilant - and afraid. Those years were heavy and their victims mostly silent.

Man, in his technological brilliance, has outdone himself. Political wrangling and disparate factions have vied and fought for limited resources, until those were exhausted. Some could be created; many could not. Space and the oceans held some promise, but never yielded sufficient quantities for the swelling hordes. The results were cataclysmic, at first minor skirmishes, later blooming into wholesale destruction. Humanity had lost its way.

There is no such thing as a mundane existence. Adventure is everywhere around us. It is for us to recognize those stories that tantalize the mind and tickle the spirit. These stories are a mixture of romance, adventure, history, and a touch of science fiction. If nothing else, humans are humans in the journey of life. Enter into the following stories with an open mind and you will find the familiar and the unfamiliar that will cause some thought beyond the enjoyment of listening.
