Gospel Poetry focuses on God the father, Jesus Christ the son and Julian's personal journey of becoming closer to them in the midst of anxiety, depression, incarceration and separation from his wife, children, family, friends and loved ones. The poems and reflective pieces were written while he was incarcerated for 11 months and four days at Fayette County Jail in Georgia from April 2015 to March 2016. It was the beginning of a transformation journey.
