Aurelia's Diaries

Dive into the diary of a teenage girl, raised by a widowed father, as she navigates school, work, friends, and a dating life. See her grow into an intelligent and beautiful young woman, who is starting to figure out what she wants from life. Based on the fact that the author always wanted to have a daughter with his wife, this is a speculation as to what that daughter might have been like. 

In this part of the series, Aurelia faces new challenges as she adjusts to a new city, new school, new family, and new friends. She faces whole new challenges as her dating life becomes more complicated. And why is she afraid that one of her best friends may become related to her? What does she realize about the romance she had in the first part?

In the third book of Aurelia's Diaries, our girl is on her own, living with her best friend and enjoying the freedoms of being an "adult". She experiences joy and heartache, silliness and seriousness, heartbreak and happiness, inspiration and despair, romance...and terror. Cheer her on as she heads straight into her long awaited mission for the church.

In the fourth book of the adventures of Aurelia, our girl begins her mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and goes to a land she doesn't know among a people she has only ever heard about. She experiences moments of insight, moments of humor, moments of inspiration, and moments of heartbreak as she navigates the world, and has some interesting and teaching moments in her quest to become whom she was always meant to be. 

As Aurelia recovers from the events at the end of Book Four, she continues her mission with one unexpected boost from an unexpected source. And Aurelia meets the most interesting investigator anyone in the mission has ever seen. But what's waiting for her when she gets home? What sort of trials will she face? Will she find love again? Will she be one of those that never leaves her dad's side? What will happen to our girl?

As Aurelia is feeling the real first signs of adulthood, she helps a few young women and even gets an idea for her dad's happiness when she's ready for her own life. But what kinds of details can there be that'll lead her into a realization where she won't be certain of anything in the future?

As Aurelia begins her internships, she learns more details about her chosen profession while the cliffhanger question at the end of book six is resolved in short order.
