Redemption Tales

Nathan Ryder wants nothing more than to get to Redemption, New Mexico, and start his career as a circuit riding preacher. He stops to meet up with his grandfather in Franklin, Missouri only to find that his grandfather has died. He steps in to save a damsel in distress and at the end of the night Nathan has gained the reputation as a fast gun hand. Every time he tries to be who he thinks he's supposed to be another gunslinger comes and the body count rises. Nathan's anxiety rises with it.

"The Preacher" Nathan Ryder and his new wife, Grace, are finally on their way to Redemption to start their new life. With some old friends, a wealthy Eastern family, and a bunch of freed slaves, they've set out for the New Mexico Territory. The Santa Fe Trail is dangerous in the best of times, even for the most experienced wagon masters and scouts. Add a gunslinger determined to have a showdown with The Preacher to the normal dangers of the trail and you have a recipe for adventure.

Rumors and gossip threaten to destroy Nathan’s position as pastor before it’s even really begun. Grace’s singing career becomes the focus of self-righteous church members who twist the truth. Nathan’s father not only disapproves of Grace but also Nathan’s dual occupations of US marshal and preacher. One determined gunslinger out to take the preacher’s reputation and a deputy who is overcome by guilt and loss are added to the mix. It will take a heavy dose of God’s grace to survive.
