The Cabin of Love & Magic

When Carly Fullerton’s doctor tells her she must take some time away from her business to rest and regain her health, the only place she can afford to go to is a remote cabin in Idaho that she owns with her two half-sisters. The cabin is supposedly haunted, but she has no belief in ghosts. She’s paid no attention to the cabin before this and doesn’t know her sister Julia has rented it out.

Mallory Conway's troubled childhood taught her that the best reason to marry is for money and security, but that doesn't mean deciding to marry has been easy. Facing yet another troubled relationship, she abruptly escapes New York City for the family's Idaho cabin where she plans to continue her "advice to the lovelorn" column, "Misery Loves Company". Gunnar McDermott dreamed of being a helicopter pilot doing search-and-rescue in the roadless Idaho mountains until a battle in Afghanistan shattered those dreams. Now they meet again, as two completely different people.

Julia Perrin runs a bed and breakfast that tends to have a strange clientele--people hoping to find true love. She's the eldest of three sisters who have inherited the cabin along with its ghosts--ghosts who are rumored to be "matchmakers." Of course, Julia knows the legend is nonsense, and believes love is highly overrated. She's never been in love and never wants to be, but she needs money, so if people want to spend a night or two at the cabin thinking they might find love, she's fine with it.
