The Great Pursuit

Pete, a successful mayor, must make sense of what is going on in this world and the world to come. He is haunted by an unknown smell from the darkened anthropomorphic house he lives at, as well as a strange world he keeps reappearing in. Curious things keep happening, as this man is caught in a double life of weakness and strength. On the one hand, he is loved and people understand him as a powerful, prosperous man. On the other hand, he is secretly weak and lost, especially when around his house.

Amy, a Gheon warrior, continues her path to find a way back into Pete's realm. While doing so, she encounters the two invisible kids, a well-man, an empty town, and the Damned. The well-man is most curious to Amy, but although he offers life, she clings to her own strength. The invisible children go missing. Will her own inhibitions prevent her to achieve her goal of finding the kids? In Pete's realm, being the mayor of a small town of Winfield, he hopes to become the Principal Law Enforcement. His journey pursues his desire to rise in power. Will his lust for power consume him?

My name is Greg, and I'm now the mayor of Benny's town. The problem is I have to exceed Benny's expectation he has for me being a leader. I must also right wrongs, and therefore, although we did fail in the past (through Amy's leadership, mind you), I am compelled to travel to Pete's world yet again and find him. Pete must pay for what he has done. Pete must die.
