For Oliver Stacey Daniels life should be simple, easy; tour with his Grammy-award winning metal band 'Til I Break, write songs for their next album, maybe meet his next someone.

Life hasn't been without its issues, of course; from intra-band squabbling, to a divorce he didn't want, Oliver is dealing with everything in his own way and his own time, even if moving on is never easy.

When Oliver is called home to Georgetown for a family emergency, he must reconcile his freewheeling life on the road with aging and ailing parents, a sister who is running from happiness of her own, and the woman he has never been able to forget.

Josephine Doyle is beautiful, older, and way, way out of reach; they tried once before and failed, so what would be different now?

Oliver isn't the man he was the last time and Josephine isn't the same either, but the connection they share impossible to ignore, drawing them together despite every reason they can find for staying away.
