Sono nato a Trieste, una molteplicità di colline affacciate sul mare che costeggia la lingua costiera del Borgo Teresiano, e circondata dal Carso, un territorio ruvido, spavaldo e grintoso. Un Carso spesso trafitto dal vento che affronta la sua roccia e la sbriciola con i refoli continui e sprezzanti e crea i “Ghiaioni”, immense rocce ridotte dal vento in piccoli pezzettini. Ecco, io immagino la vita come un infinito ghiaione Carsico e ogni piccolo pezzettino di roccia un ricordo. Il vento crea i ricordi, mai poi, con il passare del tempo, il vento stesso se li porta via.
