Elliot and Uchenna have barely recovered from their first adventure with the Unicorn Rescue Society when the mysterious Professor Fauna approaches them with an all-new quest. Det verkar som att alla hennes vänner har bytt förmågor med varandra och de är inte särskilt bra på att hantera det. Kan det bero på den mystiska besvärjelsen?

Jojo joins Yoohoo and Clover on a journey to go see the Great Wise One and seek its advice. To get there, they need to fly to the edge of The Different Land with the help of a show-the-wayer, a large yellow bird drawn by Clover.

Strange things are happening to The Different Land – Clover is thrown off a tree, the mushrooms are losing their colours, and the birds sound hoarser than usual. Just what is happening to the magic in their world?

Jojo and the animals are at a loss. A centipede suggests they try reversing the situation and stop the magic from disappearing by retracing their steps along the exact same route. They almost succeed but…
