Arthurian Magic

Sir Gadabout is a walking disaster. Voted the 'knight most likely to chop his own foot off in a fight', he shivers in his rusty armour when he has to face the brave Sir Lancelot in a joust.

Le roi de Bretagne vient de mourir. Afin d'accéder au trône, le dangereux seigneur Vertigier fait assassiner le prince Moine, héritier naturel. Pour se prémunir contre la vengeance des frères de Moine, Vertigier fait alors construire une tour, qui ne cesse de s'effondrer. On lui parle alors du jeune Merlin, un enfant un peu magicien. Les pouvoirs de ce dernier iront bien au-delà de ce que pense Vertigier.

The tale is set during King Arthur's reign. The witty Jack encounters terrible giants, each one more threatening and dangerous than the others. They devour cattle, emprison women, and maintain the country in a state of fear and confusion; but, armed only with his brain and a few magical objects he gathered, Jack will gain the advantage and slay the monsters.
